About GiftingSmart

Gift-giving should feel good, not stressful. But between birthdays, holidays, showers and housewarmings, it's easy to lose track of what you've spent and end up over budget. GiftingSmart is a simple planner that keeps your lists, your budget and your spending in one place.
What it does
- Plan by event. Create an event for any occasion and add the people you're buying for.
- Budget your way. Set one budget for the whole event, or a separate budget for each person.
- See where you stand. A progress bar shows what you've spent, what's still on your list, and what's left.
- Stop before you overspend. You get a warning before a purchase takes you near or over budget.
- Catch the deals. We track prices on your list and let you know when something goes on sale.
About the prices
Price tracking currently uses simulated prices for demonstration. Prices move and go "on sale" realistically, but they don't come from any store, so sale alerts are examples rather than real deals. Everything else, including budgets, lists and spending, works as described.

For every tradition
People give gifts for many reasons and in many traditions. GiftingSmart suggests occasions including Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Rosh Hashanah, Passover, Eid al-Fitr, Eid al-Adha, Ramadan, Diwali, Holi, Vaisakhi, Lunar New Year, the Mid-Autumn Festival, Nowruz and Vesak, along with life events like weddings, baby showers, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, baptisms, quinceañeras and graduations. You can name an event anything you like.
Privacy first
Your lists are private to your account. There are no ads, and we never sell your data. We use Google Analytics to see how the site is used, but only if you accept it on the cookie banner, and it never receives the names of your events, gifts or people. Fonts and app code are served from our own site, and you can download or delete your data at any time. Read the Privacy policy for the details.
